The Civil War Soldiers Museum in Pensacola sustained some damage from Hurricane Ivan, and Dr. Haines has relocated much of his private collection close to his home. We will continue bringing Civil war facts from this website as it pertains to the battles at Pensacola, Florida. We hope Dr. Haines will be able to re-open the physical location soon. The Pensacola Harbor was considered the best in the Gulf during the Civil War.
